All Dahlia Tubers

Welcome to our dahlia shop! Every variety you see here is grown on our little one-acre farm in Concord, Massachusetts — planted, tended, dug, and packed by hand with a whole lot of love.

Each listing is for one (1) single dahlia tuber. From a single tuber, you can expect one beautiful, blooming dahlia plant that will reward you with armloads of cut flowers from midsummer all the way through the first frost.

Growing dahlias is easier than you think! Plant your tuber in a sunny spot after your last frost date (here in New England, that's typically mid-May), about 4–6 inches deep with the "eye" — that little growth node — facing up. Water sparingly at first, then more regularly once you see green shoots emerging. A little patience goes a long way; dahlias are slow starters but incredible finishers. By midsummer, you'll wonder how you ever gardened without them.

Shipping: We start shipping tubers after the danger of frost in transit has passed, typically mid to late April. Before your tuber leaves the farm, we hand-inspect every single one to make sure it's healthy, firm, and ready to grow. We want your dahlia experience to be a great one from the very first day — because we know that once you grow one, you'll be completely hooked.
